With support from the Siheung Industry Promotion Agency, robotics specialist LPTech Co., Ltd. has successfully entered overseas markets with its in-house developed “teaching-less gripper” technology, earning the Ministerial Award from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.

LPTech Co., Ltd. has implemented an AI-based gripping technology that allows robotic arms to automatically pick up a wide variety of products without complex programming. Because the solution can be easily adopted even by small and medium-sized manufacturing sites, it is gaining attention as an innovative technology that is leading the democratization of smart automation.

The Siheung Industry Promotion Agency provided LPTech Co., Ltd. with technical consulting and equipment support during its early startup phase, enabling technology validation and prototype development. In addition, through overseas exhibition participation and buyer-matching programs, the agency helped establish a strategic bridgehead for global market entry, playing a behind-the-scenes role in the company’s growth. As a result, LPTech Co., Ltd. achieved a significant milestone by signing its first export contracts in major robotics markets across Asia and Europe within just two years of its founding.

Park Hyung soon, CEO of LPTech Co., Ltd., stated,

The award ceremony for LPTech Co., Ltd.’s Ministerial Award is scheduled to be held on November 4 at KINTEX. This recognition is being evaluated as a representative case demonstrating how the Siheung Industry Promotion Agency’s support has contributed to a company’s global success.
